Gov. Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, on Wednesday, accepted the resignation of his Deputy, Alhaji Manir Dan’iya, Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Malam Saidu Umar, and 11 other key political office holders in the state.

Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Muhammad Bello, in Sokoto announced this Wednesday.

Bello said among those who resigned are the Chief of Staff, Mukhtar Magori, Commissioner for Finance, Abdulsamad Dasuki, Environment, Sagir Bafarawa, Youths and Sports, Bashir Gorau and Lands and Housing Aminu Bala.

Others are Bashir Gidado Commissioner for Commerce, Salihu Maidaji Works, Shuaibu Gwanda-Gobir Water Resources, Abubakar Maikudi Solid Minerals, Abdullahi Maigwandu Religious Affairs and Careers and Retired Col. Garba Moyi Security.
