Tahir Fadallah, the billionaire owner of Tahir Guest Hotel Kano, has passed away. He was 74 years old.
Garba Shehu, the official Spokesperson to President Muhammadu Buhari, confirmed the development on Friday.
“We have lost Tahir. May Allah grant him Aljannah,” Shehu wrote on Facebook with a picture of himself and Tahir.
Tahir, a Lebanese native, was born in Kano and spoke Hausa fluently.
He was the leader of the Lebanese community in Kano, until his death.
