Fast-rising Nigerian born Nollywood actress, Chinedu Bernards Nwankwo popularly known as Chi Bernards is dead.
News about the thespian’s demise was confirmed by her colleague, Iheme Nancy who mourned her on her Instagram page while sharing photos of her remains.
Online reports have it that the movie star was confirmed dead at the East Side hospital Enugu after she slumped while cleaning the Chapel of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church Federal Housing.
The priest, Rev Fr. Uchendu Chukwuma and some parishioners rushed her to the hospital where she was confirmed dead.
According to the post made by one of the parishioners, efforts were being made to contact her family members before depositing her body in the morgue.
The cause of her death is yet unknown.
However, a few hours after the report of her demise, her colleagues have begun mourning her in different ways.
Chi Bernards was born May 26 into the family of Chief Bernard Obu Nwankwo.
She has featured in many Nollywood movies some of which include: The Regret, Royal Bracelet, Onlocked, My Sister’s Man, Love Without Conscience, Just A Wish, Money Fever, Who Runs The City among others.
