Tinubu pays Sallah homage to Buhari

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a leader and presidential aspirant in the All Progressives Congress has visited President Muhammadu Buhari, a day after the Eid-el-Fitri.

Tinubu was away for the Lesser Hajj in Saudi Arabia last week before returning to Lagos to observe the Eid-el-Fitri.

He postponed his trip to Taraba state to keep the appointment with the President.

Both leaders met behind closed doors at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The agenda of the meeting between the president and Tinubu could not be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.

Tinubu on Friday picked the ruling APC presidential nomination and expression of interest forms at the its national secretariat in Abuja.

James Faleke, a member of the House of Representatives, representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, picked the forms for APC national leader, who had since informed the president of his presidential ambition in 2023.

Falake was accompanied by former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal and hundreds of members of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG) to the party’s secretariat.
