Buhari’s cabal personal banker: Sowore slams Emefiele for joining presidential race

Presidential aspirant Omoyele Sowore, has condemned Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Goodwin Emefiele for purchasing N100 million presidential form of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Sowore’s reaction came after Emefiele on many occasions denied that he will be contesting in the 2023 general elections.

However, on Friday, Emefiele picked APC’s presidential nomination forms.

Emefiele picked the forms from the party’s organising secretary at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja.

Sowore while reacting to the development said Nigeria is finished.

In a post on his official Facebook page, Sowore claimed Emefiele is a member of President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabal.

“Godwin Emefiele, Muhammadu Buhari and his Cabal’s personal banker, most importantly one of Nigeria’s longest-serving and probably most brazen thieves has picked up All Progressives Congress N100m Presidential Nomination Form. Nigeria is finished,” he wrote.

Sowore is also contesting the presidential post under the platform of the African Action Congress, AAC,
