Manchester United’s woes continued on Saturday as they were demolished 4-0 by Brighton in a calamitous display.
Moises Caicedo opened scoring for Brighton on 15 minutes as he quickly got to a rebound and slammed the ball towards the goal and it went in.
It was 2-0 for the homers on 49 minutes. Marc Cucurella received a precise pass inside the box from Leandro Trossard and he beat the goalkeeper with a brilliant shot into the top left corner.
United’s woes continued on 58 minutes as Brighton made it 3-0.
Leandro Trossard teed up Pascal Gross inside the box and he rolled the ball into the bottom right corner and past David de Gea.
Two minutes later, the host made it 4-0. The rebound fell to Leandro Trossard and he fired home from close range.
