Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tuesday submitted his governorship nomination and expression of interest forms at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
Those present during the submission of the forms are: APC National Legal Adviser, Ahmad El-Marzuq; APC National Organising Secretary, Suleiman Argungu; APC National Financial Secretary, Alh. Bashir Usman Gumel and the APC National Youth Leader, Mr. Dayo Israel.
Sanwo-Olu is vying for a second term in office as governor of Lagos State.
He was endorsed by the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) sometimes ago, while the National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, last week officially endorsed him for the position.
Sanwo-Olu purchased his N50 million APC forms two weeks ago. The forms were acquired on his behalf by James Faleke, the lawmaker representing Ikeja Constituency at the House of Representatives.
