Olori Memunat Omowumi, one of the wives of the late Alaafin of Oyo Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, is in a state of mourning as she celebrates her birthday today.

The queen shared a picture on her Instagram page which depicts someone in need of help to celebrate her birthday.

In her post, Omowumi penned down a melancholic tribute to her late husband, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, while expressing how lonely it felt celebrating her birthday without him by her side.

She wrote, “The world has lost a great icon!!!
you’re more than a husband but a great icon in the Yoruba empire. I commiserate with the whole Yoruba kingdom for the lost of an unredeemable being.
Your legacy will live among us,
If there would be a reincarnation I’m automatically ADEYEMI’s family.
Your positive impact in my life can’t be overlooked,you made me a noticeable woman in society, I pray may all your children surpass you Amen!!!
