Iconic actor, producer and director, Uche Odoputa is in a state of grief as he took to social media to seek prayers for the safe return of his father from the kidnapper’s den.
The TV star on Monday took to his Instagram page to solicit prayers for the safe return of his father, Kenneth Odoputa wo has been in custody of kidnappers for the past two weeks.
Sharing a picture of his father, he asked his colleagues and fans to join him in praying for his dad’s safe return.
He wrote, “Friends please join me in praying for my father safe return from the hands of kidnappers that took him for over 2weeks now 
Following his declaration, Nollywood stars such as Mary Lazarus, Chidi Mokeme, and others took to the comment section to pray for the actor’s father’s safe return.
“The Lord will bring him back in one piece,” Lazarus wrote. “My thoughts are with you.”
“The Lord will bring him safely back and offer you and your family strength in these tough times,” Mokeme wrote.
“He will be back safely, Amen,” actress Chizzy Alichi prayed.
“My prayers are with you,” Ifeanyi Kalu wrote.
