Popular Nollywood actor, Kayode Olasehinde popularly known as Ajirebi on Tuesday got gifts of a car and plot of land from from a TV reporter turned estate developer, Dr Babatunde Adeyemo, the Chief Executive Officer, Pelican Estate.

Ajirebi who is also known as Pa James in the weekly comic relief series Papa Ajasco was also appointed the company’s brand ambassador.

The gift of car and land was part of activities to mark Adeyemo’s 43rd birthday which he celebrated with fun and ecstasy with his colleagues at the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) mosque where prayers were offered to Allah on behalf of the celebrant and his family.

Adeyemo who facilitated the building of the Mosque with assistance from Muslim brothers and sisters was full of praises to Almighty Allah for the grace to complete the building in spite of paucity of funds and low response from those called on to assist with the building.

He said saw as the building as challenge that must be completed at a record time when he was appointed as the Chairman of the building committee.

His words ‘We did fundraising for the mosque, we were able to realize about N300,000, with Allah’s assistance, we had to put it on our shoulder by adding the balance of over Three million Naira to ensure that we delivered as promised.

He called on politicians and well to do individuals to take issues of masses welfare as a priority, saying that the situation in the country calls for people to be their brothers keeper.

At the Pelican Valley venue of the reception, the CEO, Pelican Estate, Dr Adeyemo gave out the branded car with a value of #4.5m to the Pelican brand Ambassador, Pa Kayode Samuel Olasehinde, a.k.a Pa James

Apart from the car gift, a plot of land worth three million naira was also added for Ajirebi or who attended the ceremony with his wife and son.

The elated brand Ambassador speaking with Our reporter thanked Dr Adeyemo for the kind gesture.

He said the celebrant has brought enormous value to real estate business in Nigeria and had also impacted positively on his live.

Guests were hilarious as they were treated to both local and foreign dishes with highly priced wine and assorted drinks.

The celebrant, who was visibly elated, thanked God for sustaining him in the last 43 years.

He said, “For 43 years, God has been molding and reconstructing me. He encouraged me to be the man I am today”.

“Today is highly symbolic for me, the mosque is so synonymous and the most important for me. As pelican is, we are known for doing whatever we say, and today that’s why we made the prayer at the mosque.

“The landscape in Pelican is something that you cannot see anywhere. Pa Ajirebi is an humble man and someone that is not really after money.

“I am doing this business not for money. You can’t see real estate company in this kind of difficult terrain, but God has used us to turn a rejected stone to a corner stone at Pellican-Valley

“We are not just here to make money we are in real estate to make the difference. As you see our landscape is extraordinary.

“Baba Ajirebi is humble. To me, humility is everything I don’t believe in advertising and land is not something that you are supposed to be advertising.

“We don’t do adverts, all my clients are my Ambassador. Everyone that has ever bought plots in Pelican Valley advertises for me.
