Pastor Evelyn Joshua has revealed the ‘secret’ that made her deceased husband T.B Joshua “a prophet for generations.”
Evelyn revealed the details while addressing congregants at The SCOAN for The First-Year Celebration Of The Life And Legacy Of Prophet T.B. Joshua.
She noted that prayer was one of the key factors that made T.B Joshua a great man.
She said, “The T.B. Joshua that I knew, that I married and who fathered my three daughters was a man of prayer—in fact, that was what led me to him.”
In a speech given directly from her heart, Evelyn told the church that her husband always prayed to God every morning to separate him from anything that would take him away from the Kingdom of God.
Pastor Evelyn Joshua also acknowledged two women— one of them deceased— who played a big role in counseling her anytime she had issues with Prophet T.B. Joshua over her need for personal attention.
She added that despite her late husband’s busy schedule, “I shared many wonderful moments with Prophet T.B. Joshua.”
Evelyn said: “I leant from my husband that life is not a bed of roses and I learnt patience and absolute trust in God; I learnt tolerance, perseverance, understanding, forgiveness.
“The TB Joshua that I know, married and the father of my three daughters was a man of prayer and that was what led me to him.
“I didn’t choose my husband, he chose me.
“There was no SCOAN then and we were satisfied but when we started the church, and we were sitting in the mat, I became the first Sunday School teacher in the Synagogue and here we are today.
“I have experienced love and I have learnt to bless God in every situation.”
Evelyn went further to thank the church management and members across the globe for their support for the past year since the demise of the founder.
“The ministry of this church is been stem by the God of Prophet T.B Joshua as he has always done, He’s the spinal cord of the ministry and we are firmly proud of His mighty name for what He has kept doing.
“We thank God for the security, he has blessed us, and our services have kept growing in Devine delivery, healing, the breakthrough and others.
“We determined to brand the school and relevance of Prophet T.B Joshua’s ministry. His mission is to meet God through prayer and our partners and members have not stopped visiting the mountain in order to encounter God.
“By the Grace of God, soon work will begin as Prophet T.B Joshua’s breakthrough. We are equally committed to building a strong foundation for the youth, who will call the seeds of tomorrow through the education department.
“We hope to reach our youths through our partners and members all over the world and we are equally determined to progressively work with our women and groups towards a cordial relationship.
“In the light of this, we sincerely acknowledge and express gratitude to national and international government executives, embassies and consulates, religious leaders, traditional leaders and chiefs, non-governmental organizations, and others.”
