Three Christian missionaries with the Child Evangelical Fellowship, CEF have been abducted by gunmen in Kogi State.
One of the victims, Peter Adigidzi is a member of the Evangelical Church Winning All, ECWA. The others are Pastors Sunday Abah and Mike Baba.
PM NEWS gathered that the men were abducted on Friday evening, 10 June, in Ejule, Ofu Local Government Area of the state. They were on mission work to the area when they encountered the gunmen.
The whereabouts of the missionaries generated concerns until their abductors made contact on Saturday demanding  N20 million ransom for their release.
Their vehicle was recovered the following day.
Intense prayers were offered during Sunday service for the quick and safe release of the victims.
Kogi State Coordinator of Chilldren Evangelim Ministry (CEM) Evangelist Charles Esho confirmed the attack.
He called for more prayers for their safety and divine rescue within the shortest possible period.
When contacted, the Kogi State Police Command Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Williams Anya confirmed the incident.
He assured that security agencies are synergizing for their timely release.
