President Muhammadu Buhari and former President Goodluck Jonathan were at the Democracy Day celebration at the Eagles Square, Abuja on Monday.
The event was to mark the June 12, 1993 Presidential election won by late Moshood Abiola, which was nullified by General Ibrahim Babangida (Rtd).
June 12 has been declared by Buhari as Democracy Day and is celebrated every year.
Also at the event were Minister of Defence Maj. Gen. Bashir Magashi (Rtd); SGF Boss Mustapha; APC National Chairman Abdullahi Adamu; Special Envoy to Lake Chad Amb. Babagana Kingibe and the Chief Justice of Nigeria Justice Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed.
Others are: Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila, Deputy Speaker Ahmed Idris Wase, COS Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, FCT Minister Muhammad Bello and Dean of Diplomatic community and High Commissioner of Cameroon Amb. Salaheddine Abbas.
