Shina Peller, a member of the House of Representatives from Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa Federal Constituency, Oyo State, is considering dumping the All Progressives Congress (APC), the platform on which he was elected into the National Assembly.
He made his intentions known on Friday via his official Twitter page.
Peller gave a date on which he will announce his new party as he argued that his continued membership of APC will be detrimental to his supporters.
According to him, his prolonged membership in the APC will be detrimental to his supporters, particularly the youth.
His tweet read; “I’ve tried my best for APC. The party style of democracy in Oyo State kills my conscience and I’ve got to put my people’s interests first. ”
“I’ve realized that the youth and the people will continue to be at the mercy of a few at the top. I’ll announce my new political party on 21|06|22.
