Engineer Segun Oni, the candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Saturday’s Ekiti governorship election recorded massive victory in his polling unit 6, Ward 4, located at Town Hall, Ogbon Iro, Ifaki-Ekiti, Ido-Osi Local Government.
Oni, a former governor of Ekiti State scored 218 out of 242 valid votes cast at the unit to beat his nearest challenger, Biodun Oyebanji of All Progressives Congress (APC) who was able to garner only 15 votes.
The candidate of All People’s Party (APP) secured three votes, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) two, and NNPP two votes.
According to the result declared at the polling unit, one vote was voided, while the remaining seven was rejected.
