Pentecostal Fellowship declares ‘PVC Sunday’

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) in Plateau state, has declared June 26 as ‘PVC Sunday’ for worshippers to obtain their voters’ cards.

This was announced by Rev. Steven Dangana, the Chairman of the Fellowship in Plateau state.

Christians, particularly PFN members were advised to obtain their Permanent Voters Card (PVCs) ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Rev. Dangana said that members would be expected to attend church service with their PVCs on June 26.

He explained that the decision to declare the PVC Sunday was taken at the National Executive Council (NEC) meeting on June 16 in Lagos.

Dangana called on heads of churches to mobilise their eligible members, to register for their PVCs.

According to him, the leadership of the Fellowship had constituted a special committee to consult widely and advise it on the direction to go in the forthcoming general polls.
