The General Overseer of Shiloh Word Chapel, Prophet Ikechukwu Samuel, has urged Nigerians to love one another.

He made the appeal in a media chat at his Abuja office, on his newly released song titled “ “LOVE ALL MEN”.

The cleric said Nigeria is fighting a serious battle over its continued existence and everyone must now show love to one another to avoid more disasters.

He noted that Nigeria was existing on a faulty foundation because of her myriads of problems which include economics, corruption, political challenges, and ethnicity.

The cleric, however, noted that it is imperative for the nation to go back to the drawing board and do the needful and give all tribes and regions affected a sense of belonging.

He said: “We must take poverty out of the land and make the nation a place where we can be proud of again.”

The priest reiterated his call on Nigerians to show love to one another, especially to the less privileged in the society.

He said “If all churches could render more assistance to the less privileged, it would go a long way in eradicating poverty and enhancing the quality of life of the poor in the society. If we all as individuals can let love lead in all we do, Nigeria will be a better place, you can’t claim you love your people as a political leader and you watch the nation turn upside down”

He also urged Christians to live exemplary life by following to the letter the teachings of Jesus Christ.

He said any Christian that sowed charity would receive mercy and kindness from God as well as receiving love and mercy from people.

“If you don’t sow charity, you don’t expect to receive charity; if you don’t show kindness, you can’t expect to receive kindness.

“ You should also listen to the Word of God because it is what you sow through His word that you will receive,’’ he said.

Prophet Samuel added that the only culture that Jesus Christ taught his followers was the culture of love, urging Christians to do the same.
