Kano Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, on Sunday received Alh. Usman Waziri Kiru, a chieftain of Kwankwasiyya, the political movement of his predecessor, Rabiu Musa Kwakwaso who is now the presidential candidate of Nigeria Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP into the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Ganduje received Kiru and his supporters into the APC in the company of his deputy and Kano state governor candidate, Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna,
Kiru before his defection was the leader of Kwankwasiyya of Kiru Local Government Area of Kano State.
Also present during the event were the APC leader in Kiru and Bebeji region, Alh. Abubakar Me Mai, candidate for Kiru/Bebeji, Hon.Sunusi Kiru, contestants for Bebe State House of Assembly and Kiru and local government leaders.
