Buhari departs Nigeria

Nigerians have aired their displeasures with Muhammadu Buhari’s globetrotting as the president departed Abuja on a state visit to Portugal on Tuesday.

The president embarked on the trip to Portugal a few days after he returned from Rwanda.

However, the announcement of another trip by Garba Shehu today did not go down well with Nigerians with many claiming that the previous trips yielded little or no positive outcome.

“Your traveling overseas has not yielded any positive results to the masses anyway you have failed woefully, you can travel to were so ever you wish but one day you must give an account of your corrupt and deceitful leadership,” Shuaibu Aliyu wrote in Garba Shehu’s comment section.

Prisca UJ wrote: “Nigerians are holding their breath waiting for this calamitous administration to come to an end.”

Okoli Chiemeka wrote: “May God give us the emotional strength to endure this man till the end.”

Ismail Mujaheed Abubakar wrote: “@Malam Garba Shehu, Please show me great Achievement which President Muhammadu Buhari bring to Nigeria since 2015 till today? Thank you.”

Donald Omang wrote: “His presence and absence make no difference. He should go for I care. ASUU is on strike.”

However, Garba Shehu, on his part, explained that the president’s visit to Portugal was at the invitation of President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
