Abducted Zamfara NULGE chairman’s wife gives birth in captivity

Ramatu Yunusa, the wife of the chairman of the Zamfara State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, Sanusi Gusau Yunusa, abducted last Tuesday, has delivered a baby while in captivity.

Ramatu, who was nine months pregnant, was abducted in her husband’s house in Damba Gusau in the early hours of Tuesday.

Daily Post reported that Ramatu’s husband Mr. Yunusa said she delivered their baby at about 3 am on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at the bandits’ camp.

He said: “As I am talking to you now, I don’t know whether the newborn baby is a boy or a girl but all I know is that my wife has given birth to the baby.”
