Kidnappers have demanded the sum of N3 million to free Mr. Musa Lawal, said to be a staff of Nigerian Navy abducted in Lokoja, the capital of Kogi State at about 8 pm on Monday evening.
Lawal, who is said to be serving at Naval Headquarters Abuja was kidnapped at his residence, behind Post Flood Housing Estate, Lokoja.
The criminals who were heavily armed, destroyed the doors and windows of his house to gain entry.
It was gathered that Musa was due to depart for his station at Abuja on Tuesday morning before he was abducted by the gunmen attack.

An hour after the kidnap, the kidnappers called, demanding for 3 million naira ransom.
The traumatised wife of the victim, Juliana, while narrating her ordeal, said one of her husband’s hands was cut and he was bleeding while being taken away by the gunmen.
