U.S.-based preacher Keith Moore has urged Christians and Nigerians, in general, to avoid lying and other corrupt behaviour in order for God to intervene and free the nation from current problems and other demonic tricks.

Moore made the appeal in his sermon on Friday at the Summit Bible Church Impartation Conference 2022, with the theme “Glory to Glory,” which is taking place in Abuja.

The Branson priest, who founded and serves as president of Moore Life Ministries and Faith Life Church, asked for more blessings for Nigeria.

Additionally, he prayed that God would give the administration more knowledge so that it could guide the nation in the right direction.

According to the clergyman, a nation can only overcome a crisis by putting God first.

He claimed that the Lord had revealed to him that citizens should stop telling and encouraging lies in order to resolve the issues plaguing the country.

“From the highest to the least Nigerians and as Christians, we should all stop telling lies. Society will be abused if we encourage lies. If a nation wants to fight corruption, it should discourage lying.

“If I tell lies in the presence of my fellow pastors or my followers, I have established lying. There is no corruption outside lying.

“This is why the Holy Bible says Jesus is the way, the truth, and the light. Whoever follows the footsteps of Jesus Christ does not tell lies. A lie is the mother of corruption, he added.
