The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Katsina Command, said that the corp’s mobile court will try any underage person caught driving in the state.

This was disclosed on Sunday by Mr Ali Sule, the FRSC Commander in the state.

While urging motorists to stick to the stipulated speed limit, he advised parents to desist from allowing their children to drive cars on highways.

“The agency will view the act as a serious offence to see any underage child driving on highways in the state. If we catch any under-age, we will hand him or her over to mobile court to be prosecuted,” he said.

Meanwhile, the commander urged drivers to ensure the perfect condition of their vehicles during rainy seasons. They should ensure that the wipers, tyres, and lightings are all in perfect conditions to ensure visibility in the rainy season.
