The National Secretary, All Progressives Congress, (APC), Iyiola Omisore, has won his polling unit in Saturday’s Osun State governorship election.

At the polling unit, Ward 1, Moore Unit 003, Ile Ife in the Ife East Local Government Area, APC scored 192 votes to emerge winner having defeated its closest rival, the Peoples Democratic Party, which got 168 votes.

Former Governor of Osun State, Chief Bisi Akande also won his polling unit for the APC.

In Akande’s Polling unit 12, Ward 4, Isedo I, Ita Atewogbade, Ila-Orangun, APC polled 140 votes to emerge winner, while PDP scored 117 votes.
APC also won the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola’s polling unit situated at Ward 8, unit 1, Isare Ifofin, Ilesa East Local Government Area of Osun State in Saturday’s election.

The ruling party secured 164 votes while PDP trailed with 134 votes.

Also, Deputy Governor Benedict Alabi also won his polling unit at ward 6, unit 7, Baptist Day School, Ikire, in Irewole Local Government with 206 votes while PDP scored 184.
