Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries has said that Pastor Enoch Adeboye and Bishop David Oyedepo are more popular than any presidential aspirants contesting to be Nigeria’s President.

Adeboye is the General Overseer, Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), while Oyedepo is the presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide.

Four key aspirants are contesting to be Nigeria’s President. They are Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of APC, Atiku Abubakar of PDP, Peter Obi of Labour Party and Rabiu Kwankwaso of NNPP.

Ibiyeomie, during a sermon said material wealth does not determine one’s level of success.
“I will tell you impact is not made from material wealth: All the politicians contesting for Nigerian presidency today, I won’t call their names, if they stand anywhere and Adeboye stands with them, who do you think the world will run after? But they have more money and more cars than him but he has more impact.
“If any of them stands on the streets of London as Nigerians stand on the streets of London and Oyedepo stands the same place, who will they run after? But they have more money and more cars than him. Don’t be deceived!
“If any politician including the ones contesting stand with me today in this town, who will the world run after?
So, impact is not material possessions. Don’t get carried away that you have cars. Impact is when you have a lifetime legacy,” Ibiyeomie stated.
According to him, “They are politicians, they are not men of impact. All the ex-governors if they pass the street, nobody knows them because they didn’t impact lives – stole money.
“Dedicated people to God are always impactful in life. Are you getting what I’m saying? There are people, if they are not in Church, even you will know. They may not have money but they are so dedicated that if they are not in church you say, ‘where is this person?’
“There are people, even with all their money, if they don’t come you will forget. You only remember them that their car is not available”
