The All Progressives Congress’ (APC) Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has met behind closed-door with Governor Nasir El-Rufai, former party’s Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole and others in Abuja.
The meeting was held in Tinubu’s private residence in Abuja.
At the meeting were Tinubu’s running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima; Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle; the APC national secretary, Iyiola Omisore, among others.
It was gathered that the meeting was meant to strategise ahead of the 2023 presidency, especially the outrage that has greeted the Muslim-Muslim ticket.
Ever since he was given the party’s ticket, the APC’s presidential candidate has been strategising on how to win the poll in the midst of fierce battle to stop him from running.
