Presiding Bishop, Living Faith Worldwide, David Oyedepo has said Long Jump sensation, Ese Brume has been carrying his name to places he has never been.
Brume won a silver medal at the just concluded World Athletics Championship in Oregon, United States.
But Oyedepo, in a sermon, praised Brume for her feat, saying “Ese brume dey carry me go where I no know.”
“She is just carrying my name to places where I have never been.
“One of my daughters who won the Olympics bronze medal in Tokyo has won another silver medal in the world athletics competition.
“I listened to her interview with the press and she identified with Jesus openly, she said it was the grace of God. That is how Jesus is lifting people today.
“She said, “I thank God for my father, Bishop David Oyedepo”. She is just carrying my name to where I have never been,” he said.
Oyedepo added that after winning in Tokyo, she came and dedicated her medal to him, which she said she promised God.
“We are going places here, we are not cracking jokes,” he added.
