Police officers from Ebute-Ero Division and the RRS on Wednesday were on time to save four persons from being lynched by a mob on the Eko bridge.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesman of the Lagos Command, made this known on social media.

In a series of tweets on his verified Twitter handle, Hundeyin said, “Stop jungle justice!!! Today on Eko Bridge, four adults (including one grandmother) were beaten black and blue after they were suspected of being kidnappers because they had with them in their vehicle twelve children (ranging from 7 months to 12 years old).
