The candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in next year’s presidential election, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima have a handy people- centred manifesto which they will soon unveil to the electorate.

This was disclosed this Wednesday by Hanatu Musawa, Deputy Spokesperson of the APC Presidential Campaign on The Morning Show, the breakfast programme of Arise Television.

She said the candidates will campaign on the achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari, noting that despite the general feelings of under peformance, the administration has made great gains in some areas.

She listed the areas to include agriculture, infrastructure and social investment programs.

“We are going to run a honest campaign with Nigerians. There are global economic crises as we all know. We will advance diverse tactics. Our manifesto will address all the areas that require attention.”

Musawa doused pessimism expressed in some quarters over what has been tagged Muslim-Muslim ticket and assured that the candidates are great unifiers.

She said the innuendoes that some northwest and North central people are not satisfied with the nomination of Senator Shettimah as Vice Presidential candidate are not true.

She explained that it is not unusual for parties to experience post primary grievances, assuring that APC will resolve the crises using internal mechanism.
