Kenya election: Odinga beats Ruto among Kenyans in Diaspora

With 2,712,968 votes counted in Kenya, veteran politician Raila Odinga is trailing Vice President William Ruto by a margin of close to 2.5 percent.

Odinga polled 1,311,451 Votes or 48.37%, while Ruto is soaring away with 1,397,045 Votes or 50.98%.

Outside the country however, diaspora Kenyans showed more preference to Odinga.

He won in South Africa, United States, Tanzania, South Sudan and the United Kingdom.
