A woeful Manchester United suffered a 4-0 heavy defeat to Brentford on Saturday to remain glued to the bottom of premier league.
The Reds had lost 0-2 to Brighton at home on opening day in a dismal performance.
But today’s display was worse for the visitors as they were 4-0 down at half time, with goalkeeper David de Gea the biggest culprit.
Mathias Jensen slipped the ball to Josh Dasilva on the edge of the box to find the bottom right corner with a great effort on 1o minutes to open scoring for Brentford.
Eight minutes later, Mathias Jensen pounced on a loose ball inside the box and beat the goalkeeper with a shot into the bottom left corner to make it 2-0.
United were 3-0 down on 30 minutes. Ivan Toney got up really well from the corner and headed the ball into the six-yard box where Ben Mee glanced a header into the net.
Five minutes later, it was 4-0 for Brentford.
It was a superb work from Ivan Toney, who played a vital role in the build-up.
He squared the ball to Bryan Mbeumo, who beat David de Gea with a brilliant shot into the bottom left corner.
