Heavyweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk has called out WBC Heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury for a unification battle.

While Usyk holds the WBA (Super), WBO and IBF heavyweight titles, Fury holds the WBC belt.

To become an undisputed World Heavyweight champion, a fighter has to retain all the belts.

Speaking after defeating Anthony Joshua in a rematch, the Ukrainian paid tribute to the Ukrainian military, and said that he is only interested in fighting WBC champion Tyson Fury next.

Usyk said: “I did this victory for my country, for all people, militaries who are defending the country. Thank you very, very much.

“This is already historic. Many generations are going to watch this fight, especially the round when someone tried to beat me hard, but I withstood it and turned it in a different way.

“I’m sure that Tyson Fury is not retired yet. I’m sure, I’m convinced he wants to fight me. I want to fight him and if I’m not fighting Tyson Fury, I’m not fighting at all.”
