The Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Dr. Peter Obi on Tuesday met with Afenifere leader, Pa Ayo Adebanjo in his home over his 2023 presidential ambition.
Adebanjo had openly said Afenifere would support the LP Presidential candidate in next year’s presidential election.
Obi posted photos of the visit on his Twitter handle and wrote: “Presently visiting PA Ayo Adebanjo and members of the South and Middle Belt Leadership Forum. The National leaders of Labour Party and other stakeholders are here too.”
He unveiled his agenda for the country to Afenifere and called for support.
The LP presidential candidate is seeking to become the first Igbo executive president of Nigeria and to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari.
