Popular Nollywood actor and singer, Moses Armstrong, has defied his suspension by the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) and returned to the movie set.

Armstrong, a former aide to Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom state, was first arrested on June 13 for allegedly raping a minor he adopted.

He was charged with rape, intimidation, conspiracy and supplying of drugs or instruments to procure abortion.

He was, however, granted bail on August 11 after being sent to prison by an Akwa Ibom high court.

The Abuja Connection actor was suspended by the guild after his arrest in June.
