Erling Haaland scored his second hat-trick for Manchester City in four days as the Citizens demolished Nottingham Forest 6-0 at the Etihad Stadium.

City were too clinical in their approach to the game and Haaland stole the show again like he did last weekend when he scored a hat-trick against Crystal Palace.

He gave the homer the lead 12 minutes into the game after Phil Foden played the ball into the box, and he got on the end of the cross to put it inside the left post.

Haaland doubled City’s lead on 23 minutes, from a a great chance he had inside the box and put the ball into the back of the net.

The tall strike completed his hat-trick on 39 minutes, scoring with a header from close range after John Stones headed a pin-point lofted cross into his path.

The homers were not done yet as they scored their fifth goal on 65 minutes.

Julian Alvarez was put through by Riyad Mahrez and he showed brilliant composure inside the box to bury the ball into the back of the net.

Alvarez got his brace and made it 6-0 for City three minutes to duration time. He received the ball after a swift counter attack. Still with some work to do, he wove his way through the defence to score a wonderful goal from close range.
