President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday celebrated the nation’s 62nd Independence anniversary at the Eagle Square in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
The president, at the colourful occasion, was driven on a motorcade round the Eagle Square as he inspected the guard of honour.
Also at the event were the his wife, Aisha Buhari; Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and his wife, Dolapo; former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan; Senate President, Dr. Ahmad Lawan and the Speaker, House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.
There were colourful display at the event to celebrate the nation’s 62nd Independence anniversary. There were cultural displays from various ethnic groups.
