Nigerian youths march for Peter Obi in Lekki

Hundreds of supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, under the aegis of the fast-growing ‘Obidient Movement’ converged on strategic parts of Lekki, Lagos, on Saturday.

Some section of the supporters converged at the Maruwa bus stop and marched through the Freedom Way in Lekki.

They were captured holding the posters of the LP candidate and his vice, Yusuf Baba-Ahmed.

Many of the supporters were also in branded vests as they marched around.

The rally caused both human and vehicular traffic around the axis.

However, security operatives were able to enforce strict compliance with the no rally order at Lekki Toll Gate.

There was a heavy presence of security personnel at the Gate.

Meanwhile, no harassment of any protesters was also recorded as of the time of filing this report.
