Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari will on Friday present the 2023 budget to the joint house of the National Assembly.
The president will present the budget size of N19.76 trillion to the National Assembly for consideration.
It will be his last budget to be presented to the National Assembly before leaving office on May 29, 2023.
Senate President, Dr. Ahmad Lawan disclosed this on Tuesday at the plenary session at the Senate.
Lawan disclosed that Buhari would present the budget by 10.00am at the temporary chamber of the House of Representatives.
In 2022, the president had presented a budget of N16.39 trillion to the National Assembly with a crude oil benchmark price of $57 per barrel and daily oil production estimate of 1.88 million barrels (inclusive of condensates of 300,000 to 400,000 barrels per day).
