Governor Abiodun Oyebanji rolls out 6-point agenda

Mr. Abiodun Oyebanji has taken charge of Ekiti State as Kayode Fayemi bows out of office after completing his tenure as governor of the state.

Oyebanji was sworn in by the Chief Judge of Ekiti State, Justice Oyewole Adeyeye, on Sunday, October 16, 2022, amidst applause from the crowd present.

The inauguration took place at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion, Ado Ekiti, on Sunday.

Taking Oath of Office, Oyebanji pledged to preserve, protect and defend as well as preserve the office as governor in the presence of mammoth Ekiti people.

The inauguration was attended by APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; Governors Godwin Obaseki (Edo), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), and Abubakar Badaru (Jigawa), among others.

Ministers, senators, diplomats, traditional rulers and other dignitaries were also in attendance.
