The eldest son of the late Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Femi has declared that he does not have a preferred party or a candidate for next year’s general elections.
He made this comment while performing at Grand finale of Felabration, earlier today at the new African shrine in Lagos.
He debunked rumours that the Kuti family has anointed a particular candidate by saying “we don’t go to them, they come to us.”
By this he is trying to imply different candidates of various political parties have been visiting them so as to seek their support.
He was quick to make reference to when the current vice president of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo attended one of the previous editions of Felabration.
He also advised the people to open their eyes and use their sense during the coming elections.
