Erling Haaland got a brace on Saturday as Manchester City thrash Brighton 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday in a premier league game.
Haaland opened scoring for City on 22 minutes. He wove his way past several defenders and found himself in a one-on-one with the keeper.
His dummy threw the keeper off balance and he simply put the ball into the back of net.
On 32nd minute, Kevin De Bruyne collected a brilliant pass inside the box and found himself in a goal scoring opportunity. He took a shot, but the effort was well blocked by one of the defending players.
Haaland got his brace from the penalty spot to make it 2-0 for the homers.
He smoothly converted the penalty with a stunning effort on 43rd minute which ended up inside the right post.
Brighton reduced the tally on 53rd minute through Leandro Trossard.
Solomon March pulled the ball back for Trossard on the edge of the box, and he beat the keeper with a fine strike inside the left post to make it 2-1.
Halaand displayed a terrific piece of skill on 71st minute inside the box, given him a clear goal scoring opportunity, but his shot was blocked right on the line by a defender after the keeper was beaten.
Two minutes later, Trossard burst into the box after a fine solo run. He looked up and tried to place a shot into the bottom left corner, but Ederson made a great save to deny him his moment of glory.
Kevin De Bruyne fired City into a 3-1 lead on 75th minute after an assist from Bernardo Silva.
Silva teed up De Bruyne on the edge of the box and he fired the ball into the left side of the goal.
