From the images of her at the event to mark her birthday, the actress looks so cute and belies her new age.
Although she clocked 80 on October 16, she had her well-attended party on Thursday, October 20.
Several dignitaries and her colleagues attended the event which took place in Lekki, Lagos.
The birthday celebration also commemorated Mama Rainbow’s 55th year on stage.
The event place had several pictures of the host on display.
The octogenarian danced into the hall as the guests cheered her.
She wore a gold dress that radiated class and elegance.
One of the highlights of the event was the official unveiling of Mama Rainbow’s memoir, The Goldsmith’s Daughter.
Some of the dignitaries in attendance were the Senior Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State, Ayodeji Amodu, Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Lagos State chapter, Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo; the Iyaaleje of Oodua land, Toyin Kolade; Group Chairman of Revolution Plus, Bamildele Onalaja; and Lanre Hassan, aka Iya Awero.

However, in continuation of the celebration, Mama Rainbow will be hosting another event today.
The event will take place at Blue Roof Ikeja.
