Award-winning singer, Rihanna is set to make a comeback with the release of a new song, Lift Me Up, which will be featured in Marvel’s blockbuster sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
The song is a tribute to the life and legacy of Chadwick Boseman, a former actor in the series, who died of cancer.
“Lift Me Up” was written by Tems, Ludwig Göransson, Rihanna and director, Ryan Coogler.
It will be released on Friday, October 28, in advance of the movie’s premiere in the theatres on November 11.
She briefly teased her fans with the song’s melodic hum on Instagram and Twitter but nothing else is known about the style and sound of the song.
