The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has met with Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State over his presidential aspiration.
Obi posted photos of his meeting with Ortom on his Twitter handle on Tuesday.

He wrote: “My most sincere thanks to my dear friend and brother H.E @GovSamuelOrtom, for his graciousness, warm hospitality and friendship. Visiting Benue is always a pleasure.”
The Labour Party’s candidate is capitalising on the feud between Ortom and his party to seek to woe him to his side in next year’s presidential election.

Obi is seeking to become Nigeria’s president in 2023 under a little-known Labour Party. His popularity has soared overtime, especially on social media.
Political pundits said he needs a miracle to win next year’s election to replace President Muhammadu Buhari in office.

If he does win, he would have made history as the first man to win a presidential election in Nigeria without a structure.
