American rapper and hip-hop artist 504Yung has announced he’s currently working on releasing a short film inspired by his prison experience and struggle to make it through music which he is passionate about.

According to the artist, he aims to inspire fans and people who look up to him on how to avoid trouble and not go through some situation that can set them back in life.

“The film is about a guy who just got released from prison into a halfway house trying to make a way out of nothing into music. I felt it was real anyone that been in my situation will understand,” 504Yung stated.

504Yung is also working on a new EP coming out in the next few weeks, he says it’s a follow-up to his previously released project that shares the same title with the short film.

Speaking about his music, the New Orleans star said he has always been around music. His cousin was rock legend Antonio Domino, and other members of his family were also involved in music.

Growing up, 504Yung said he remembers discovering artists like The Hot Boyz and Lil Wayne early as a youth. The idea of being in music seemed natural to him, and eventually, the stories that he would write as a young boy became lyrics for his songs.

Today he continues to pen stories of his experiences as an individual and an artist. His determination drives him to create the finest rhythmic vibes while urging others who like what he is going to be consistent.

“I’m trying to get into acting while doing music because I have a passion for both. You all out there stay consistent and keep going,” he says.
