Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike on Thursday said the Labour Party’s Presidential candidate, Peter Obi performed well when he was governor of Anambra State.
He said those criticising Obi were envious of him, telling him not worry about such criticism.
Wike spoke when Obi came to unveil projects he built in Rivers State.
“One reason I brought you here, I know you worked very well in Anambra, where you come from, bad belle, envy, even in Abuja, there are those who are fighting me.
“Some people, because of the level you are now, they are envying you in their states, they can come out and say all kind of rubbish, don’t worry, that is how it is.

“I have always told people, when you are given the opportunity to serve, use it and showcase what you can do. Stop criticising somebody who has already left. You have been given the opportunity now, show it. I am a professor, professor well. I am a doctor, doctor well. I am a lawyer, lawyer well, I am a mechanic, mechanic well,” he said.
