Labour Party’s Presidential candidate, Peter Obi on Saturday addressed a huge crowd of Catholic Charismatic Renewal members at Ubulu Uku, Delta State.
The event was the 14th National Conference and Golden Jubilee Celebration of Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Delta.
Thousands of worshippers thronged the venue of the conference and Obi capitalised on the opportunity to address the large gathering.
He posted photos of the event on his Twitter page on Sunday and wrote: “Yesterday, I was delighted to join thousands of worshippers at the 14th National Conference and Golden Jubilee Celebration of Catholic Charismatic Renewal at Ubulu Uku, Delta State.
“I am grateful for their sincere prayers for our victory at the polls. Yes, it is our victory because, we, as Nigerians are breaking our nation free from the shackles of bad governance and leadership failure that have held her down for long.
“I thank the organisers of the programme, and pray that God will hear our prayers for our nation and for ourselves,” he said.
