A massive crowd hit the NNPP secretariat, at FAJ House in Adatan Abeokuta, Ogun, on Tuesday for the unveiling of Alhaja Shakirat Idris Arowolo as the running mate to Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi.
The event which kicked off at 10 am was attended by party loyalists from Lagos, Abuja, Kano, and other parts of Nigeria.
Speaking at the event, Shakirat stated that she was honored to be found worthy to serve alongside Ajadi to break the shackles of poverty in Ogun.
The running mate added that Ajadi is a man who loves the downtrodden passionately and has what it takes to lead Ogun to prosperity.
Shakirat said there was no need to sugarcoat Ajadi’s popularity as it was already evident in the massive turnout at the unveiling.
She added all the Ogun electorate needs to do in 2023 is to come out and vote massively for NNPP and Ajadi to secure a better future for themselves and their children.
Meanwhile, the event also saw the Arewa Community in Ogun State, under the Kwankwasiyya movement endorsing Ajadi’s quest to lead Ogun in 2023.
Speaking at the event, Ajadi said he was confident of victory in 2023 as the PDP and APC have failed the people of Ogun state.
Ajadi, at the meeting, also reiterated his promise to empower youths and improve the lives of the people.
He assured that Ogun will definitely become the pride of Nigeria under his administration.
