Nigerian independent Alternative and Afro Pop/ Fusion artiste and songwriter, Uthman Bello popularly known as Tekunbi has released a brand-new, groovy masterpiece single titled “Understand.”
According to the recording artist, and performer, every man on earth has a divine mission and purpose that can only be accomplished when there is a clear awareness of such.
Understand is Tekunbi’s proclamation of his knowledge of his role on earth, which is to provide pleasure, peace, and succour to the Tekstribe (his audience) and mankind at large through his incredible art and ability, without regard for disagreeing voices, prejudices, or biases.
The combination of Dexstar’s Amapiano beat and Tekunbi’s captivating and sonorous Arabic-themed melody creates the ideal recipe for this amazing record, which is appropriate for any mood or season.
UNDERSTAND is Tekunbi’s second release of the year, after QUL, a chart-topping single that dropped in March 2022, as he prepares to release his EP project.
Since he began music professionally in 2017, Tekunbi (actual name Uthman Bello) has built a reputation for himself as an envoy of soul-stirring art with his seamless blend of Arabic and western rhythms, which are pleasurable and loved across genres and socioeconomic boundaries.
