Yuletide: Ogun PDP senatorial candidate celebrates with children

The candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for Ogun Central senatorial district in the 2023 election, Olumide Aderinokun has pledged that his interventions will be based strictly on the need of the people of the area if elected.
Aderinokun said this when speaking with journalists at a get together for the yuletide he organised for children at the PDP secretariat in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State.
The senatorial candidate who said he is determined to alleviate poverty poverty among the people of the district said he would have plans for children and their parents if elected.
However, he said his intervention will be based on the need of the people, adding that he will not give water when the problem of the people is road and good infrastructure, and vice visa.
He also promised to work with both federal and state governments for the benefit of the people of the senatorial district if elected.
“There is no way we have children that we will not have parents most especially the mothers. Today I am celebrating the children. I also have plans for the women too through empowerment programme of all kinds.
“I am still consulting on the needs of the people because we have to be careful and know what they actually need, so that we will not them water whereas what they need is good road and so on.”
